‘Finger pointing to the moon’

For Zhang Dings Enter The Dragon [2015]. We edited the foley sound taken from

the Bruce Lee film casting them through a laser.

This light was then bounced throughout the ICAs sprung dance floor. The audiences foot falls added a bass drum like tone and rhythm over and through the sound track.

For the second half of the performance we dressed the stage as if for a vocal performance. Replacing the vocal microphones with light sensitive receivers. These in turn played the stage light effects, these were edited live to produce a sound track for Zhang Ding’s installation.
